FIRST PLACE OF WORK - “DONAERODORSTROY”
For some, summer is the time for vacations, long-awaited and long vacations, bold trips and long walks, but for the first year students of the Shakhty Road Institute, this is the time to apply their theoretical knowledge in the conditions of a modern road construction company in real time.
As a general partner of SHADI, the Donaerodorstroy enterprise organized workplaces for students in construction management No. 872. About 10 students are already employed by road workers.
For over a month now, students of the Road Institute, under the professional guidance of experienced specialists from our company, have plunged into the production process of building modern roads.
The head of the site, Andrei Chub, responds that “with our young colleagues we still have a lot to do. It’s very important that the guys will be able to put their knowledge into practice, and we, in turn, will hope that after graduation our team will be replenished with new talented young specialists who leave the walls of the Shakhtinsky Highway Institute.”
Now the SU-872 road workers are actively working on the largest infrastructure facility in the Rostov Region - bypassing the city of Aksai (III stage of reconstruction of the federal highway M-4 Don, km 1024 - km 1036).
Students had a unique opportunity to see how this project will be implemented and to take a direct part in it.
General Director Sergei Zubanov notes that the peculiarity of the reconstruction of this section of the federal highway is not so much in its scale, but in that share of responsibility that is assigned to the entire staff of the enterprise.
“The implementation of this project is possible due to the cohesion and dedication, which for some is a newspaper stamp, and for the road workers it is the only possible attitude to business,” the general director emphasizes.
These days, up to 170 specialists and workers, and about 70 pieces of equipment, work at the facility daily. Its arsenal includes: crawler excavators, bulldozers, soil rollers, motor graders, wheel loaders, a soil mixing plant and about 40 dump trucks.
According to our experts, at present 380 thousand tons of sand have been brought into the embankment. In some areas, work was done on the device of the subgrade.
On the section km 1028 - km 1030 of the federal highway "Don", work is ongoing to stabilize the soil. This process is a thorough grinding and mixing of soil with the corresponding inorganic materials, in this case, cement with a thickness of 35 cm.
The main goal is to create a solid foundation for the future road, which will not deform and creep during operation.

Reconstruction of km 1024 - km 1036 is the third phase of the Aksai city bypass project. In total, five stages of implementation stand out:
1. Reconstruction of the M-4 "Don" in the area of km 1079 - km 1081.
2. Reconstruction of the M-4 “Don” in the area of km 1072 - km 1079 and km 1081 - km 1091.
3. Reconstruction of the M-4 "Don" on the section km 1024 - km 1036.
4. Preparation of the territory for the construction of the new M-4 Don section, km 1036 - km 1072 - “Bypass of Aksai”.
