The final part of the construction of a 12-kilometer highway leading to the «Platov» airborne in Rostov is nearing completion. Specialists SU-872 of the Donaerodorstroy enterprise work at a high rate and excellent work quality.
About 40 road workers are doing shift work on laying the top layer of the highway at the object "Access to the Platov Airport."
According to the head of the project Denis Vorobyov, “Much has been done at the facility, and we are not slowing down. In a round-the-clock mode, our specialists lay the top 5-centimeter layer of the road surface from a fine-grained mixture of asphalt concrete. In some areas, the installation of a metal barrier has already begun.”
According to the information of the chief engineer Viktor Zarzhetsky, the exemplary level of all work at this facility is ensured through the use of modern technologies and materials, “but the most important thing is the professionalism of our road workers, who work day and night, in any weather,”.
In the process of erecting the route leading to the new modern Don airport, a number of units of high-performance equipment are involved: 10 rollers, 2 asphalt pavers, one of which is a 9-meter wide, milling machine, about two dozen units of dump trucks.
With the end of all these works, the level of comfort and road safety will increase, while the speed of the traffic flow will increase.
According to experts, the average daily traffic along the access road to the Platov Airport in the coming years will exceed 10 thousand cars per day.
