The construction of long-lasting motor transport arteries for transit inter-regional and international traffic are routes that bypass settlements, as they provide fast, safe, comfortable travel between large cities and metropolitan areas.

On the territory of the Rostov Region, one of the large-scale infrastructure projects is the construction of a transport bypass of the city of Aksai.

These days, the specialists of Donaerodorstroy company continue at an accelerated pace the reconstruction of the 12-kilometer section of the M-4 Don federal highway, km 1024 - km 1036, which is the third stage in the construction of the transport bypass of the satellite city of Rostov-on-Don.

Now, at kilometer 1026, the road workers are working on the construction of spillways from the roadway, ensuring the removal of water from the surface and from the drainage layers of the subgrade and road pavement, as well as their protection against groundwater.

At kilometers 1026 and 1028, workers reinforce the cuvette with cast concrete, a barrier fence is being installed from kilometer 1030 to kilometer 1032, and a sand base is being installed at km 1032 - km 1033.

On the section of the Don federal highway from km 1030 to km 1032, the company’s specialists began cutting cold worn asphalt concrete pavement.

Recall that the construction of the Aksay bypass on the M-4 Don highway in the Rostov Region is divided into five stages, three of which involve the reconstruction of the existing road with the extension of the carriageway, another one is the construction of a new section, another stage is the preparation of the territory for construction

It is planned to put into operation the entire road bypassing Aksay at the end of 2023.
